How to Prepare Attiéké
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of attiéké (pre-packaged or fresh)
- 1–2 tablespoons of water (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of oil (optional, for added shine)
Instructions:
- Steam the Attiéké:
- Place the attiéké in a steamer or a heatproof bowl.
- Add a few drops of water to moisten it if it feels dry.
- Cover and steam for 5–10 minutes until warm and fluffy.
- Fluff the Grains:
- Use a fork to fluff the attiéké, ensuring it doesn’t clump together.
- Drizzle with a bit of oil if desired for a glossy finish.
- Serve Hot:
- Serve the attiéké warm with your choice of accompaniments ( Grilled or Fried Fish, Meat or Chicken Stews, Vegetable Salads, Spicy Pepper Sauce).
